ALSO ANCHORED A FEW OF THEIR MUSICAL PROGRAMMES. SOME OF THE DUBBING STUDIOS LIKED MY VOICE & OFFERED ME VOICEOVER JOBS FOR CORPORATE FILMS WHICH AGAIN WAS APPRICIATED BY ALL.
PLEASE GUIDE ME AS TO HOW CAN I PURSUE THIS HOBBY OF MINE IN CANADA. WILL I BE ABLE TO GET RJ JOBS & WHAT SORT OF PREQUALIFICATION WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS WILL HELP ME STAY IN TOUCH WITH MY CREATIVITY & ALSO HELP ME EARN EXTRA $$$$$$

I myself am a former DJ/Radio Show host....the thing is..it's not the same as in India or Pakistan or any other place you might think of..here you as a person have to invest money and buy/purchase air-time on either Radio or TV. It is totally upto you what you do with it...do a charity programme or within your air time sell spots so that you can make money!
Doing that is like a full-time job because you have to go around looking for advertisements etc. Ppl who are willing to give you money for the air time and then you also have to make an ad for them!!
As far a suggestions go...all I can say is that hold on tight and pray that someday there will be a Radio station dedicated to promotion of music...well on another note...whenever you come down here...you and me can put some money in and buy some time on air and do voluntary music time to promote relationship amongst our Desi Community, viz, Indian and Pakistani Community. And we can get all the help from RJ Sonia in this matter too!!
So buddy...buckle up, Saddle in...and hop on the band wagon!! it's gonna be a bumpy ride!!!
