RE: CRICKET..CRICKET and CRICKET...Gimme some cricket.

Well I think one of the issues with Cricket is 'ICC' itself ..............there are too many 'conservative' , 'bueracratic' and politically inclined people sitting in LORDS who are really hurting the game..........

I think the ODI's had given the necessary 'breather' and more should be done to make the game 'Exciting' and 'Fun' and still retain the finer aspects of the Art of the game of Cricket. I would love to see Professional Cricket also played like NBA, or NFL particulary in our 'Sub Continent' with free exchange of players from India, Pak, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and all countries.....that would greatly promote the sport and do provide a great opportunity to the millions of Cricket afficiandos and players who aspire to be really good at the game and would love to make it a 'way' and 'means' of living....

yeah that is right...there are leagues of cricket in different countries...like in India/Pakistan/Srilanka..the leagues are pretty much the "A" Class cricket which is played amongst the teams of companies or organizations...League cricket or "A" Classs again is also in England/Australia/NZ.....they have started League cricket in US too....so far there are 8 teams...well it's a start....US league is very bad though but if they keep on doing it I think they will prosper...

ICC Champions Trophy is coming up isn't it?

Cricket is it just Spirit, Passion or is it something Patriotic? For me it's Spirit of Sportsmanship, Passion and love of the game. What is it for you?

Well for me Cricket is something I love to play , watch and follow. Indeed just like any sport there is no fun if there is no 'sense' of competition and aim to win the game and that is what I love about the game since it is one sport, that involves not just 'talent' and skill but also has an 'element' of surprise in it ( Just because you win a game today does not mean you will it tomorrow...each game has a 'story' of its own...and that is the real fun part of the game.....)
