It was good, Sydney's work was good, but not a movie that would really move me. The only scene that was a bit touching was in the end, when he recieves a present from his students and he didn't knew how to react and he almost burst out to tears.

OK..."move" is a relative word....move a ton of something heavy or something not so heavy....I had seen it very long time ago and it had moved me then.....maybe If I saw it all over again with a different state of mind then you are correct ,it may not move me as much now....bottom line is that you enjoyed it , I hope....In the Heat of the Night....it had one a few Oscars I think and Rod Stieger won it for Best Actor....I had read , where Rod played his character all thru out the production, that is even when not shooting,....check it out and lets see what you think of it...
