Salaam Namaste - In theatres on September 9, and promises to be interesting.



Nikhil Arora is not cool...Nick is better for this trendy happy-go-lucky character.



Ambar Malhotra is a Radio Jockey, at the Salaam Namaste radio station.



Nick is a Chef at famous Indian restaurant in Melbourne

Ramji, played by Madhavan, is a cook from Bihar with grand ambitions.

To arrange enough money for his sister's wedding, he goes to London as a chef. But his prospective employer is dead by the time Ramji arrives.


Which means our leading man is wandering around aimlessly in one of the world's biggest cities



To complicate matters further, Ramji has lost his visa and passport.

He endears himself to a wealthy Indian family, and they give him a job as a chef in their Indian restaurant.



The police are hot on the chef's pursuit, convinced he is an illegal immegrant.



Under pressure, the lawyer asks his own fiancée Sameera (Samita Bangargi, the film's leading lady, seen in the picture) to stage a fake wedding with Ramji.



What is to be of Ramji now?


The story heads comedically in several directions. Is Ramji falling in love with Sameera? Are the police smelling something fishy? Will things get sorted out?

And will Ramji make the money he came for?



Ramji Londonwaley hits theatres on September 2.
