That is a very good and logical question you asked Shashi. To be honest, I am also tired of looking at the rough manly looks of these stars. I can understand that they might need it in their films, but outside the shooting, they can get a clean-shave.......or are they too lazy to do that?

On the other hand, look at Amitabh's white goatee, I simply think he should get rid of it, it doesn't look so good on him, especially with black hair on his head, his white goatee doesn't go well.

And look at Jackie and his head cover, as well as Anil Kapoor lately, they all need to get a life, and clean up their act.  Guess its their downfall time and maybe they are depressed, but what about Abhishek?

You see, in India...its quite a common thing, and nobody minds it including their partners. But ppl with the cultural differences in these countries.. says and thinks... that this rough look is nasty.
