James Bond goes to India and meets Amitabh Bachchan.

Omega, the prestigious Swiss watch company, played perfect host to Mumbai's glitterati gathered at an event to celebrate the launch of the latest collection - The Constellation Double Eagle.

In keeping with the glamour and flamboyance of the brand, Omega invited Pierce Brosnan, global brand ambassador and Sonali Bendre Behl, India brand ambassadress to host the party.

The evening reached a highpoint when the Omega Brand Ambassador, Pierce Brosnan felicitated the International Indian Film Academy for its success in promoting Indian cinema across the globe. Mr. Brosnan presented Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan a cheque of Rs. 25 lakhs for the IIFA Charity Foundation, which looks after the needs of film industry workers.

Present on the occasion were Jonnathan Stalder, Regional Sales Manager, Omega, Sonali Bendre Behl, Brand Ambassadress for Omega in India, G Kannan, Country Manager, Swatch Group India, eminent members from the Indian film industry and corporates. They spent the evening celebrating luxury.

SHAADI YA...
Ever since Negar Khan was deported back to Norway the case has taken on some interesting twists with the model-actress’s partner, Sahil Khan producing a six-month-old marriage certificate dated Januaray 7 after the lady’s forced exit from the country claiming a shaadi that was earlier never revealed. Now we have come across this picture that catches the couple soon after the pheras. It’s another matter that the vows were taken on the sets of their on-the-floors film, 5 River International’s as-yet-untitled venture and the scene was for the screen only. Following an eight-day-shoot in Kolkata and another spell in Shimla and Kulu-Manali, many scenes and three songs are in the cans. But following Negar’s return to her home country, Zeba Khan and Dilshad Shama’s film is stuck, for now.

SEN & SENSIBILITY
The film may have belonged to Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and child star Ayesha Kapoor but Nandana Deb Sen still managed to catch the eye as Bachchan’s wife in Black. Now the daughter of Nobel laureate, Amartya Sen is looking ahead to Ram Gopal Varma;s My Wife’s Murder in which she will be pitted against another seasoned actor Anil Kapoor. There’s also Tango Charlie with Ajay Devgan and two English films, Over The Mountains and It’s A Mismatch. Is it just a coincidence that the pizza chomping model’s recent batch of films all have English titles?
