Why is it that we Desi people don't listen?

Have you ever thought about it or noticed...that we desi people dont listen when we are asked to do something?

Does anyone know ..why?

May be Becos we desi people have got a mind of our own. we always feel "why do We have to listen to someone else when we can do things our way.

This is a ambiguous statement.Can you be a little more specific...listen to who?..as in Mia  Biwi  or aur kuch...

As for example...on this board !

Aren't we requesting people to respond and post? But I guess ppl have a mind of their own! Unfortunately the mind is not in place ...if a request is not honored.

On the other hand, in the white community for example, ppl respect what other ppl say. Sadly that sense of respect lacks in our community ..i feel !

Well here is one good possible reason...........Desi's are like the Internet 'Smileys'..... they have 'mouth' and eyes...but never EARS...............
