They never travel together, even if they have to reach the same destination. Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek always believe in travelling separately, because, God forbid, if one meets with a mishap, the other is safe at least.
But the father and son made an exception when they travelled in the same aircraft to Singapore for IIFA. It so happened that Abhishek had wrapped the shoot of DHOOM in Goa and had to board the next flight to Singapore, or else he would miss out of the IIFA charity football match.
However, the Big B had been booked for May 20 on Singapore Airways and there was no way he could alter his plans [he is the brand ambassador of IIFA]. That's when the father and son decided to break the rule of travelling separately and boarded the same aircraft.
