Hi everyone...I saw Bardaasht and I must say that it's Bobby Deol's best performance to date! Although his act in Dillagi was good, I think this one was way better! This movie was about love, but not so much about Romantic love, but Brotherly love... The songs were few, but good.. Lara Dutta wasn't prominent until the second half of the movie....
Story: Bobby has brought up his little brother all lone and his brother is more like a son to him... He tries to instill a sense of duty, responsibility , but his younger brother seem to always get into trouble due to his friends and as a sign of revolt...Anyways his brother gets killed and labelled a drug dealer. Bobby goes to the police for help, he gets the run around, but eventually the ACP helps him...also a lowly officer does too..Bobby sets out to find out the truth behind his brother murder, only to realize that the ACP and two off his officers are really the killers...Bobby goes to the best Lawyer to fight his case, and lara works for him...She finds out her boss is only taking the case to make it easy for the Officers to win, so she resigns and take the case herself. Their star witness the lowly Offer is killled before he reaches the court and their case is lost. Bobby cracks and takes matter into his own hands by kidnapping the three killers and secretly taping the whole encounter and eventually their unrepented admission off killing his brother cold bloodedly without any reason...This then clears his brother's name, and Bobby finally lay his brother to rest...

Yeah saw it tonight..was alright..nothing really in it to talk about.
