The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai will be seen playing a rebel warrior in the Hollywood film ‘The Last Legion’.

Reports say that the movie will be a big production venture with a budget close to $70 million and Ash’s role requires a lot of stunts and horse riding.


And Ash is looking forward to the stunts. She said before leaving Mumbai to shoot for Hollywood film "I'm looking forward to all of that. Never done it before.”

Ash added: "Now it's time for another new experience, another challenge. New explorations, new discoveries every single day - that's life! I look forward to a positive existence, always..."

‘The Last Legion’, helmed by Doug Lefler, is set in 470 A.D. as the Roman Empire crumbles. It's the story of Rome's last emperor, the 12-year-old Romulus Augustus, who escapes the rebels over-running the city and embarks on a perilous trek to Britain with a small band of companions to track down his last legion.

Ash joins Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley and Thomas Sangster for the film, which also stars Peter Mullan, John Hannah and James Cosmo. The film is slated to release in 2006.
