After Paheli, where Big B has done a special appearance without charging anything for it, he repeats the generosity in three movies where he makes an appearance as himself- Sanjay Daima's Ramji Londonwale, Mahesh Manjrekar's Struggler and Kannada film Amrit Dhare.
In Ramji Londonwale the lead character, R Madhavan plays a Bachchan fan and in the end his character gets to meets his idol. In Mahesh Manjrekar's Struggler, he bumps into the protagonist who is a struggler in Bollywood. And Kannada film Amrit Dhare he plays himself who meets a dying fan, it's a very short appearance and was shot with a couple of hours.
Big B feels that it would have been ridiculous to even expect money for such brief roles where he plays himself meeting his fans.
What I am more surprised about is....how does this sort of news leak out as to who paid what and who got paid what? Who is mentioning this to press, the director or the actor or some other?
