Dhaba---Home away from Home

INDIA PALACE PUNJABI DHABA

Paramjit, an enterprising Sardarji from Patiala, and his culinary expert wife Jaswant Kaur, have teamed up to provide home-cooked food for those hungry visitors to this great tourist spot.

Its a clean and hygienic eating house that serves the menu of Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods.

While all the food items taste as if they were made in an Indian dhaba or a south Indian bhavan, their prices surprisingly are very low. "We never compromise on taste, authenticity or quality, " Paramjit says.

Paramjit's restaurant is just a stone's throw from the immigration barrier on the banks of the Niagara river on the US-Canadian border.

I was reading this as if it was a joke, was it meant to be a joke?..cos it didn't sound funny.

Talking about Dhabas, the guy in Swades was hillarious who wanted to open a Dhaba on our highways here.

Sonia, a year has past by and I am still waiting on your thoughts regarding this eatery.Surely, you must have gone there by now or atleast some of your friends might have. So, give it up and tell us how the dhaba is?
