Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, is historically one of the busiest retail shopping days of the year. It marks the official beginning to the Christmas shopping season. The "black" in the name comes from the standard accounting practice of using red ink to denote negative values (i.e., losses) and black ink to denote positive values (profits). Black Friday is the day when retailers traditionally get back "in the black" after operating "in the red" for the previous months.
Have you participated in this shopping frenzy, where major stores open up at dawn with bargains to lure shoppers?

Very interesting, never heard of a 'Black Friday' before, I only knew about the Boxing Day which is the day after Christmas Day. Didn't knew there was a marked day after Thanksgiving too.
So did you go for bargains? How much are you planning to spend this Christmas?
I did not go because my betterhalf did and she did leave the house very early in the morning....Its like I don't want her to play teenpati while I am playing....its like when you win you are still loosing when both of us play....thus she is the shopper and spender and I am not....need to have balance in life.
